It’s a time to connect, share and inspire, all with the worldwide goal of caring for our natural resources. Learn increasingly CONSERVATION CONNECTIONS Hawaiʻi Conservation Alliance launched Conservation Connections in 2014 to serve as an online polity to connect people to environmental organizations wideness Hawaiʻi that offer a variety of opportunities ranging from volunteering, internships, research, and jobs to help protect our island’s precious natural resources. With 190 Sites and Programs listed on Conservation Connections, we encourage all conservation related organizations to register their site/program in order to share their opportunities with the public. LearnIncreasinglyVisit Website CONSERVATION CAREER COMPASS Inspired by the Mālama Honua Worldwide Voyage, the Conservation Career Compass serves as Hawaiʻi’s new career towers resource to guide Hawaiʻi’s next generation of stewards on their voyage to a career in conservation or mālama ʻāina through various pathways such as wonk programs, scholarships, fellowships, internships, and volunteering. It provides a sneak peek into the lives of conservationists through featured interviews, on the Navigator Spotlights page, of current professionals sharing their story and journey into conservation and giving translating to the next generation. Through blog style wares on the Career Guidance page, we offer tips on topics such as interviewing, applying for a job, resume writing and more. LearnIncreasinglyVisit website IUCN HAWAIʻI COMMITMENTS The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) is made up of 10,000 individuals belonging to 1,300 governmental and starchy organizations, which aid public, private, and non-governmental groups in their efforts to integrate human progress, economic growth, and the conservation of nature. Learn increasingly CONSERVATION MAPS The Alliance has compiled publicly misogynist spatial data layers into an online tool that allows users to explore information well-nigh their environment.
